When we discussed the sharpening process with our craftsmen, none of them reacted negatively, despite the possibility of becoming our “future competitors.

On the contrary, the atmosphere was rather welcoming, and I was able to learn a lot of “information about machines and tools to be made” from everyone.

Based on this information, we devised the structure of the machine, and by combining commercially available steel racks and other components, we managed to complete a facility that looked like it could be used.

We are very grateful to all the craftspeople who taught us so much.

僕達が研ぎの工程にチャレンジする事を取引先の職人さん方に相談すると、『将来の競合他社』になる可能性があるにも関わらず、否定的な反応をされる方は全くいらっしゃいませんでした。
それどころかむしろ歓迎して下さるような雰囲気で、皆さんから『作るべき機械や道具類に関する情報』をたくさん教えて頂くことができました。

その情報を元に機械の構造を考え、市販のスチールラック等を組み合わせることによって、何とかそれらしい設備を完成することができました。
色々と教えて頂いた職人の皆さんには、本当に感謝しております。
