The real cause is still unknown, but regardless of the content, the ‘moment when a junior’s skill may have surpassed that of a senior in a part of the process’ can be a positive thing for both the senior and junior.

本当の原因はまだ分からないのですが、内容はともかく『工程の一部において、後輩の技術が先輩を超えたかもしれない瞬間』が訪れたことは、先輩・後輩の両方にとってプラスになり得ると思います。

 

 

For craftsman A, this is an opportunity to feel that ‘junior B, who until now has been a complete novice, may soon become a rival.

Therefore, he is faced with the need to “further improve his skills in areas where his juniors cannot catch up,” or to “have the courage to recognize the skills of his juniors that surpass his own.

The former leads to growth as a craftsman and the latter to growth as a playing manager, and either choice can be an opportunity for craftsman A’s own growth.

というのも職人Ａにとっては、『これまでは全くの初心者だった後輩Ｂが、近々ライバルになるかも知れない』と感じるきっかけになります。

そのため、『後輩が追い付けない領域を目指してさらに腕をあげる必要』や、あるいは『自分を超えた後輩の技術を認めるだけの度量を持つ必要』に迫られます。

前者は職人としての成長、後者はプレイングマネージャーとしての成長につながり、いずれを選択しても職人Ａ自身の成長の機会になり得ます。
