There are several reasons why I can foresee future growth in Craftsman B.
The first is a change in facial expression.

職人Ｂを見ていて、今後の成長を予感できるのにはいくつか理由があります。
まず一つ目は、表情の変化です。

 

 

In his first year with the company, as he himself said, he was quite anxious that he was not contributing to the company at all.

Of course, it was natural that he could not contribute from the beginning, but his expression in the company always remained hard.

Now, perhaps because he has more confidence, he looks more relaxed when he speaks in general.

Also, when I ask him about sharpening and when he talks to senior craftsman A about technical matters, his expression seems more imposing than before.

入社１年目は、本人も言っていたのですが『自分は会社に全く貢献できていない』という不安がかなり大きかったようです。
もちろん初めから貢献できなくて当然なのですが、社内での彼の表情はいつも硬いままでした。

今では自信もついてきたせいか、普段話す時の表情もリラックスしているように見えます。
また、こちらから研ぎについて尋ねた時や、先輩職人Ａと技術的なことを話す時の表情も、以前より堂々としているように感じます。
