We have received a request from a prospective buyer of “BY” who would like to know the details of the dimensions of the knife.
(We apologize for not informing you at the time of the pre-sale announcement.)

The variation in dimensions is due in part to individual differences at the time we receive them from the blacksmith, but honestly speaking, it is also largely due to the level of our sharpening techniques.

For this (first) lot, after the surface finish was determined at the development stage, we have been working on it for several months while also studying the sharpening process.

Since sharpening techniques are still in our infancy, the level of technology is constantly changing, even just in the last few months.

We hope you will understand that the individual differences due to the sharpening process are gradually decreasing as we gain more experience.
(but I hope you can rest assured that we will not ship anything to a level that we are not satisfied with).

各寸法のバラツキは、鍛冶職人さんから頂く時点での個体差もありますが、僕達の研ぎの技術レベルによるところも大きいというのが正直なところです。

今回の（初回）ロットについては、開発段階で表面仕上を決定した後、研ぎ方の研究も重ねながら数ヶ月に渡って作り進めています。

研ぎの技術はまだまだ発展途上にあるため、この数ヶ月間だけでも技術レベルは常に変化しています。

経験の蓄積で研ぎ工程による個体差は段々と少なくなってきているとは思いますが、ご理解頂ければ幸いです。
（とはいえ、自分達が納得しないレベルのものは出荷しませんので、ご安心頂ければと思います）
