The assignment was to “think about what kind of knife you would make if you were in charge of new product development and give it shape.

Until now, Craftsman B has, of course, mostly been taught unilaterally by senior craftsman.

However, senior Craftsman A, who teaches, does not believe that he has a wealth of knowledge and sufficient skills based on only a few years of his own experience.

それは、『もし自分が新製品開発の担当者だとしたら、どのような包丁を作るのかを考えて形にする』という課題です。

これまで職人Ｂは当然のことながら、先輩から一方的に教わることがほとんどでした。

ただ、教える側の先輩職人Ａも自身の数年の経験だけでは、決して豊富な知識と十分な技術があるとは思っていません。
