【No.184】Development of stainless knives sharpened in-house (1)

As we have reported in recent posts, we have been developing our own sharpening knives for the past few years, and both Craftsman A and B continue to work on adding more to our lineup.
Currently, there are two new product candidates.

 

【No.184】自社で研ぐステンレス系包丁の開発 (1)

ここ数年、自社で研ぐ包丁の開発を進めているのは最近の投稿でお伝えしている通りですが、さらなるラインナップを追加すべく、職人A・Bともに引き続き取り組んでいます。
現在、2種類の新製品候補があります。

 

 

The first is the powdered steel type introduced in 【No.59】.

At the time of this posting, we were still in the process of sharpening a few samples, but more than six months have passed since then.

In the meantime, we have been moving steadily toward commercialization and have already received a larger number of products from this blacksmith for mass production.

 

 

1つ目は【No.59】でご紹介した粉末鋼のタイプです。

この投稿の時点ではまだサンプルを数丁研いでいた段階でしたが、それから半年以上が経過しました。

その間、製品化への動きを着々と進めており、量産に向けてまとまった数をすでにこの鍛冶職人さんから受け取っております。
