【No.176】In-house sharpened knives Vol.3 (9)

Craftsman A is honing his skills every day with the hope of eventually producing high-quality kitchen knives that will attract many people, on par with the “FUJIYAMA”.

This is why he was thinking of a name related to “mountain” when naming this knife.

【No.176】自社で研いだ包丁 第三弾 (9)

職人Ａは、いずれは『FUJIYAMA』と並ぶような『たくさんの人を魅了するような高品質の包丁を生み出したい』という思いで、日々腕を磨いています。

そのことから彼は、今回の包丁を名付けるにあたり、『山』にまつわる名称を考えていました。

The term “mountain of fools (pile of idiots)” refers to “a state of excessive self-confidence despite the fact that one’s knowledge and experience are still limited.

I think we all have the potential to be in such a situation.

We were able to deliver our own sharpened knives to everyone, albeit in limited quantities.
And to our delight, we received a lot of gratifying feedback.

人は誰しも、そのような状態になってしまう可能性があると思います。
