In the production process of current leather sheaths, when three or more pieces of leather are layered, it is inevitably necessary to glue the grain (the side mainly used for the outside of the product).

The grain side is an important part that determines the product value of leather and is often smooth and beautifully finished, so it is not suitable for gluing as it is.

現行の革鞘の製作過程において、３枚以上の革を重ねる時、どうしても銀面（主に製品の外側に使われる面）を接着する必要が出てきます。

銀面は革の商品価値を決める重要な部分で、滑らかで美しい仕上げを施していることが多いため、そのままでは接着には向きません。

 

Therefore, the grain side must be roughened so that the adhesive will blend well with the leather.

In observing the manufacturing process this time, I felt that there is room for improvement to increase manufacturing efficiency in the process of router shaving the surface of the grain side.

そのため、接着剤が革にしっかりとなじむように、銀面を粗くする必要があります。

今回、製造工程を観察してみると、銀面の表面をルーターで削る作業において、製造効率を高めるための改善の余地があると感じました。
