お電話でお話しさせて頂いた代表の方は、その少し前に鋼材メーカーの主催する会合に出席されたとのことでした。

There were various people from the industry, including knife makers and retailers, in attendance, and it just so happened that someone mentioned Konosuke at the party, so he recognized us.

I remember how happy I was to learn that many people in this industry were talking about us at the party and that he remembered our company because of it.

I was also very honored that he described Konosuke as a company that works from a different angle than other companies, as a company that makes knives from the standpoint of a producer rather than a knife maker.

そこには包丁メーカーや小売店さんなど、様々な業界関係者が出席されていたそうですが、偶然にもその場でどなたかが幸之祐のことを話題に挙げて頂いたこともあり、僕達のことを認識して頂いていたとのことでした。

業界のたくさんの方が集まる場で話題にして頂いていたこと、またそれがきっかけで自社のことを覚えて頂いていたことを知り、本当に嬉しかったことを覚えています。

また、幸之祐のことを『包丁屋というよりも、プロデューサーという立ち位置で包丁を作っている』と、他社さんとは違う切り口で仕事をしている会社だと表現して頂いたのも非常に光栄でした。

そして、先方をお尋ねすることになりました。
