T-shirt production, second sample

Unable to receive sufficient quantities of knives from craftspeople, we are exploring various possibilities to challenge the sharpening process ourselves and even the forging process in the future.
At the same time, we are constantly looking for ways to express our craftsmanship in products other than kitchen knives.

Ｔシャツ製作 ２回目のサンプル

十分な数量の包丁を職人さんから受け取ることができず、自分達で研ぎの工程にチャレンジしたり、さらには将来的に鍛造の工程にチャレンジするためにはどうすればよいか、様々な可能性を探っています。
それと並行して、包丁以外の製品においても自分達のモノづくりを表現する方法はないかと日々取り組んでいます。

We have been working on this T-shirt for a while, and now the second sample has been finished.
Whatever we make, we always want to make “what we really think is good,” and we decided to use 100% organic cotton as the fabric.

The color of the T-shirt was not the usual black, but something similar to the color of charcoal, and the embroidered Konosuke logo was chosen to be the closest gray to black, close to the color of the fabric, so as not to stand out too much.

However, the actual logo stood out more than expected, so we will try to produce the next sample in a less noticeable color.

少し前から進めていたＴシャツですが、今回２回目のサンプルが仕上がってきました。
どんなものを作るにせよ、僕たちは常に『自分達が本当にいいと思うもの』を作りたいと思っており、生地はオーガニックコットン100％のものに決めました。

色も通常のブラックではなくやや墨色っぽいもの、刺繍の幸之祐ロゴについても目立ちすぎないよう、生地の色に近い『一番黒に近いグレー』を選びました。

しかし、現物のロゴは思ったよりも目立っていたので、次回サンプルではより目立ちにくい色で製作してみようと思っています。
