Dustproof box for leather sheath production

The leather sheath (improved version) is still sold only to a few dealers, etc., but a router and grinder are used to finish the edges when making it.
In doing so, leather shavings would scatter around, so we have worked with the hand as close to the dustbin as possible.

まだ一部の販売店さん等にしか販売していない革サヤ (改良版) ですが、製作時の淵の仕上げには、ルーターやグラインダーを使用しています。
その際、革の削りカスがまわりに飛び散ってしまうので、手元をできるだけゴミ箱に近づけて作業していました。

However, this would not be easy to work with, and some debris would be scattered by this method, so we decided to look for a dust-proof box for the work.

I searched online shopping, but found only products about “20cm square” which seems a little small for making long sheath for Gyuto and Sujihiki.
Therefore, we are considering machining a simple acrylic box.

We have found that these are available in a wide range of sizes, perhaps because of the high demand for displaying figures and other collections, so we are going to arrange for the dimensions that seem most convenient and drill the holes on the left and right sides ourselves.

しかしそれでは作業性が悪く、またこの方法でも多少のカスは散らばってしまうので、作業用の防塵ボックスを探すことにしました。

ネット通販で検索するも、牛刀や筋引用の長いサヤを作るにはやや小さいと思われる『２０ｃｍ四方』程度くらいの製品しか見当たりません。
そこで、単純なアクリルボックスを加工する方法を検討しています。

フィギュアなどのコレクションをディスプレイしたいという需要が多いからか、それらはサイズも豊富なことが分かったので、一番使いやすそうな寸法を手配し、左右の穴は自分達で開けてみようと思っています。
