独立してから彼は一心に包丁作りに取り組みました。

We received samples, communicated suggestions for improvement, and created samples based on the suggestions, repeating the process over and over again until we finally completed the WT.

We shipped the products to several suppliers and steadily received repeat orders, but then the quality did not stabilize and there were many cracks and flaws in some production lots.

We were working together to identify the cause of the problem, but unfortunately, just then, he was unable to make knives due to various reasons.

↑ WT at the time of launch (発売当初のWT)

サンプルを受け取り、それに対する改善提案を伝え、その内容を踏まえたサンプルを作る、ということを何度も繰り返し、ようやくWTの完成にこぎつけました。

数ヶ所の取引先さんに出荷し、順調にリピート注文も頂けるような状況になっていたのですが、その後なかなか品質が安定せず、製造ロットによっては割れやキズが多発することがありました。

原因を特定すべく一緒に改善に取り組んでいたのですが、残念ながらその矢先、諸事情により彼は包丁作りができない状況に陥ってしまいました。
