In the past, we had all been reviewing monthly sales figures, but that had been the end of it.

In the future, we will make a system to “change the allocation of time for the following month according to the sales results of the previous month.

And we aim to achieve a state where we can ‘steadily increase sales while developing new products at the same time.

After finishing the auxiliary work of making leather sheath for this month’s shipment and inserting the handle, craftsmen A and B immediately returned to “new product development,” or sharpening work.

これまでも、毎月の売上の推移については全員で確認していたのですが、それだけで終わってしまっていました。

今後は『前月の売上実績によって、翌月の時間配分を変える』仕組みにしていきます。
そして『売上を順調に伸ばしながら、新製品の開発も並行して行う』という状態を目指します。

今月出荷する分の革サヤ製作の補助作業と、柄挿げ作業を終えた職人Ａ・Ｂの２人は、早速『新製品の開発』、すなわち研ぎの業務に戻りました。

次回以降、その様子をお伝えします。
