Thankfully, we always had back orders from customers, so I was confident that sales would naturally increase as long as we increased supply.

However, the situation remained the same, and before I knew it, many years had passed.

In other words, ‘The current situation was not caused by my own fault, so I should just wait for the situation to get better,’ and ‘I made excuses for my lack of control over the situation and waited leisurely for the situation to improve.

However, as I told you in【No.106】, my thinking has changed drastically.
I then told the staff about it.

有難いことにお客さんからのバックオーダーは常に抱えていたことから、『供給数さえ増えれば売上は自然に上がっていくだろう』と高をくくっていました。
しかし状況が変わらないまま、気付けば何年もの歳月が過ぎてしまいました。

言葉を変えると『今の状況は、自分の落ち度によって引き起こされた訳ではないのだから、状況がよくなるのを待っていればよいのだ』と、『自分がその状況をコントロールできないことを言い訳にして、状況が好転するのをのんびり待っていた』ということです。

しかし【No.106】でお伝えした通り、考えが大きく変わりました。
そして、そのことをスタッフに伝えました。
