It was “Tosho Knife Arts” in Toronto.

In the first place, he (Douglas, owner of Ai&Om) was inspired to start a knife store by his conversation with Tosho, and he said, ‘I wouldn’t be where I am today without it.

Upon hearing this story, I of course decided to accept the proposal.

Later, on my next visit to Toronto, when I met Tosho owner Olivia, I was the first to tell her, and she said, ‘I’m so happy I’m about to cry.

When I asked him about the meaning of the name “Ai&Om,” he told me that it comes from “love and compassion.
(“Ai and Omoiyari” in Japanese)

We will continue to develop the “Kaiju Kit,” which is filled with the love and compassion of many people.

それは、トロントにある”Tosho Knife Arts”さんのことでした。

そもそも、彼（Ai&Omのオーナーのダグラスさん）が包丁店を始めることになったのはToshoさんからの提案がきっかけだったそうで、『それがなければ今の自分はない』とのことでした。

このお話をお聞きして、もちろん僕はその提案を受け入れることにしました。

その後、次の訪問地であるトロントで、Toshoオーナーのオリビアさんにお会いした時に真っ先にお伝えしたところ、彼女は『嬉しくて泣きそうだ』と言いました。

以前、“Ai&Om”の店名の意味をお聞きした時、オーナーのダグラスさんは『愛と思いやり』が由来なんだと教えてくれました。

色んな人の愛と思いやりが詰め込まれた『Kaijuキット』、しっかりと開発を進めていきたいと思います。
