In other industries besides the knife industry, I have heard that many talented Japanese are leaving for other countries due to salary and other reasons.

I felt that this is a major issue that we Japanese need to solve.

I asked him if he would be interested in developing kitchen knives with me in the future because of his deep insight into kitchen knives and cooking. The answer I received at that time also stuck deeply in my mind.

包丁産業以外の別の業界でも、給料やその他の理由によって優秀な日本人がたくさん海外に出て行ってしまうという話を聞いたことがあります。

このことは、僕たち日本人が解決すべき大きな課題のように感じました。
