This time, I visited with an employee who sharpens knives at Konosuke, so we were able to discuss more specific details at the meeting.

今回は幸之祐で包丁を研いでいる社員と共に訪問したこともあり、打合せではより具体的な内容をお話しさせて頂くことができました。

At the dinner we were invited to afterward, I learned that he read my blog and even knew that I had started a membership program.
He said he read it because he felt ‘I need to understand what my business partners are thinking.

It was a moment that made me jump up and down, knowing that a senior member of this knife industry was interested in what I had in mind.

I involuntarily held his hand and thanked him.

He did not seem to be dissatisfied with the fact that it had been so long since my previous visit.
It was more like, ‘How dare you come back three times without giving up!’

その後お誘い頂いた会食では、その方が僕のブログを読んで下さっているということも知り、また会員サイトを始めたことまでご存じでした。
『取引相手がどんなことを考えているかを理解しないといけない』との思いから、読んで下さっていたとのことです。

業界の先輩が僕の考えていることに興味を持って下さっていたことを知り、飛び上がるほど嬉しかった瞬間でした。
僕は思わず手を握り、感謝の言葉を述べました。

以前の訪問からかなり時間が経ってしまったことについては、特にご不満に思われている様子もなく、むしろ『よくも諦めずに３回も来てくれた！』といった雰囲気でした。
