The craftsmanship we’ve pursued at Konosuke is an extension of this philosophy, but ultimately, I believe we find joy in “creating things that didn’t exist in the world before,” and we’re striving to achieve that through the craft of knife-making.

And I get the feeling that customers are expecting “something innovative that stems from that kind of thinking.”

この考えの延長で続けてきたのが幸之祐でのモノづくりですが、結局のところ自分達は『それまで世の中になかったものを生み出すこと』に喜びを感じ、包丁づくりを通じてそれを実現しようとしているのだと思います。

そしてお客さんは『そのような考えの元、生み出されるような斬新なもの』を期待してくれているような気がしています。
