Improvement of manufacturing process (1)

We manufacture kitchen knives (sharpening and subsequent processes) and leather sheaths in-house.

Although this method is generally called “handmade,” it still requires power tools and other small-scale equipment for each process.

 

製造工程の改善 (1)

弊社では包丁の製造（研ぎ以降の工程）や革鞘の製造を自社で行っています。

一般的に『手作り』といわれる方式ではありますが、やはり各工程に合わせた電動工具や、その他小規模な設備が必要になります。

 

In either case, it is relatively easy to prepare such equipment as long as the conventional production method is continued as is.

However, when trying to create something new and unprecedented, it is almost always impossible to achieve it with the same equipment.

And since it is rare to find suitable equipment when trying to purchase it, we are almost always forced to generate it ourselves.

いずれを製造する場合でも、従来の作り方をそのまま続けるだけであれば、比較的簡単にそれらの設備を揃えることができます。

しかし今までにない新しいものを作り出そうとすると、同じ設備では実現できないことがほとんどです。

しかも、それに適した設備を購入しようとしても見つかることは稀なので、ほとんどの場合は自分達で生み出す必要に迫られます。
