In parallel with the circular whetstone, we had also resumed the renewal of the belt grinders that we had previously been working on halfway through the project.

Drill holes for screwing the motor and idler (machine for turning the abrasive belt) to the base that has been welded.

Craftsman B, who is usually a quiet man and does not show much emotion, was very happy when this work was completed.

Even though it was still around noon, he joked, “All work is done for the day!”, indicating that it had been quite a hard work.

This kind of “hard work that is difficult to convey to the general public” continues at the manufacturing site.

溶接が完了した台座に、モーターとアイドラ―（研磨ベルトを回すための機械）をビス留めするための穴を開けます。

普段は無口であまり感情を出さない職人Ｂですが、この作業が完了した時の喜びはひとしおだったようです。

まだお昼頃だったにも関わらず、そんな彼が『今日の仕事は全て終わりました！』と冗談を言うほどだったので、かなり大変な作業だったことがうかがえます。

このような『一般の皆さんにはなかなか伝わりづらい大変な作業』が、モノづくりの現場では続きます。
