職人Ａは、早速それらの包丁の手直しにとりかかりました。

The objective, of course, was to “complete FM’s standard finish” by removing minor scratches and other defects, but there were a few that were difficult to repair.

Therefore, he decided not to force those knives to be closer to FM, but to try a different finish than before.

Incidentally, after I launched Konosuke in 2006, we had many “knife samples that were never commercialized,” but when we displayed them in our gallery, thankfully, most of them were purchased by visitors.

Believing that there would be such customers again this time, he decided to take the plunge and try something different.

目的としてはもちろん、小キズ等の不具合を取り除いて『ＦＭの標準仕上げを完成させること』なのですが、中には修正が難しいものもいくつかありました。

そこで、それらの包丁については無理にＦＭに近づけることはやめ、従来とは違った仕上げを試すことにしました。

ちなみに2006年に幸之祐を立ち上げた後、これまでにも『製品化がされなかった包丁サンプル』がたくさんありましたが、併設のギャラリーに展示していたところ、ありがたいことにそのほとんどを、訪問された方が購入して下さいました。

今回もそんなお客さんがいることを信じ、思い切って色々と試してみることにしました。
