今後、より効率よく包丁を出荷していくために、革サヤの重要性が日に日に大きくなってきました。

The preparation of sheath has long been an essential part of exporting knives, but there have been many problems in the production of conventional Ho saya.

We have completed the basic development of the “Pin-less saya” introduced in the past article above, and have successfully obtained a patent for it, and one of our dealers has fully adopted it.

However, some knives can get scratched when they are inserted or removed, so we were faced with the need to develop a second pair of shears, which resulted in the leather shears introduced in 【No.57】–【No.58】and【No.79】～【No.83】.

というのも、以前から包丁を輸出する際には、サヤの準備がほぼ必須となっていますが、従来の朴サヤの製造には色んな問題がありました。

上記の過去記事でご紹介した『ピンレスサヤ』については基礎開発を終え、特許も無事に取得することができ、ある販売店さんでは全面採用して頂くことができました。

ただ、包丁によっては出し入れの際にキズがつくこともあるため、第二のサヤ開発の必要性に迫られ、その結果生み出したものが【No.57】～【No.58】や【No.79】～【No.83】でご紹介した革サヤです。
