Preparation of Hiramai

Related to yesterday’s post, here are some photos of the preparation of Hiramai (horizontally rotating grinding wheel).

昨日の投稿に関連し、ヒラマイ（水平回転砥石）の準備の様子の写真です。

During the preparation, which is arguably the most important, the grinding wheel surface is being flattened.
The relatively quiet residential street is clearly visible and often relaxing to work on.

研ぐ前の準備で最も大事だと言える作業、砥石の面を平らにしている様子です。
比較的静かな住宅街の道路がよく見え、リラックスして作業できることも多いです。
