feel that the weekly reports have had a positive effect, there have been cases where the feedback has backfired.<\/p>\n<p>I thought I was offering advice every time with the best of intentions to members who were struggling to set their own goals, but it seems they actually felt like they were being criticized.<\/p>\n<p>What\u2019s more, since this situation continued week after week, it ended up causing the person more and more distress, which was completely counterproductive.<\/p>\n<p>Based on this, I decided to limit feedback to situations where I have something specific to convey, and when it is necessary to provide feedback to relatively junior members, to have another senior employee deliver it on my behalf.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">I think they\u2019ll be able to convey things in a somewhat gentler way than I do\u2014since I tend to be the most critical and my expectations are inevitably high.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">(to be continued)<\/p>\n<div style=\"height:80px\"
