Simple knife differentiation<\/h2>\n

When we create a new product, we strive to create something that not only has the basic performance of a kitchen knife, but also something that has never been seen before.<\/p>\n

Currently, our second young sharpening craftsman is practicing and sharpening \u201cmolybdenum mono-steel knives,\u201d but since it would be quite simple to sharpen them as they are, we have been thinking daily about what we can do to make them better.<\/p>\n

This time, I suddenly thought of the etching (corrosion) process for logo marks.<\/p>\n

The \u201ctechnology to put letters on the surface of a knife using an electrode and a special liquid\u201d is a technique that we have tried.<\/p>\n

The area of the electrode part itself, which comes in contact with the knife and causes corrosion due to energization, is not very large, so I tried energizing it while moving it several times, but it did not work.<\/p>\n

The result was just a \u201crusty stainless steel knife\u201d.<\/p>\n

You can’t know what to do until you try, so we will continue to challenge ourselves with many failures.<\/p>\n
