When I asked her to start with a Kiri-mei (engraving) on a prototype of a limited-quantity Konosuke knife, she was still a little delegated at first, and a little nervousness was evident in the lettering.<\/p>\n

According to her, when a Kiri-mei works, it’s when she feels like, \u201cI don’t care what happens!<\/p>\n

It is not a feeling of resignation, but rather a relaxed state of mind that says, \u201cI have practiced hard, so if I give it my all, it will be all right.<\/p>\n

Once you can enter this state, even if you fail in one stroke, the next few strokes will be sufficient to follow up.<\/p>\n

The fact that things go well as long as one has a strong sense of self-confidence seems to have an even greater effect in work with people.<\/p>\n

Even when recommending knives, introducing them with confidence rather than being modest will surely give them a sense of security, and customers who are able to share the good qualities of the knife will feel a great sense of satisfaction, which will increase their sense of trust.<\/p>\n

When I told the her that we were going to officially adopt her Kiri-mei on the new knives for future products, she was afraid that there would be counterfeit Konosuke knives (with a different cut name from the previous ones) on the market!<\/p>\n

But as soon as I told her that this would become the standard in the near future, she seemed to regain her confidence.<\/p>\n

We are \u201cconfident\u201d in recommending the knives that she engraved.<\/p>\n
