Behind the worldwide boom of Japanese knives, we have been suffering for a long time.<\/p>\n

In an environment where all kinds of Japanese knives were being sold, craftsmen tended to shy away from requests for knives that were particularly labor-intensive, which is what we wanted.<\/p>\n

In a situation where even knives made using conventional methods are selling like hotcakes and back orders are piling up, it may have been difficult to find meaning in spending time on knives that require so much effort.<\/p>\n

We were not particularly pleased with the craftsmen who were asked to produce the knives, and there were many cases where there was no prospect of production at all, which unfortunately caused us some stress when we received orders and inquiries about delivery dates.<\/p>\n

The fact that we have now found something over which we have some control over manufacturing and that awareness of the product is gradually increasing is an important factor in envisioning a bright future.<\/p>\n

A vendor of ours who visited Japan the other day and saw the actual leather sheath placed an order for our knives and leather sheaths.<\/p>\n

In addition, we received orders for bread knives from other brands.
We were surprised to receive an order for matching leather sheath at the same time, and we shared the joy with our staff.<\/p>\n

We will continue to create products that move the hearts of our customers, not simply to increase sales in the immediate future.<\/p>\n
