On the launch of the Membership Program (2)<\/h2>\n

I have come to realize that our company’s style of \u201coutsourcing forging and sharpening to outside craftspeople, and then commercializing the sharpened products (handle installation, engraving, boxing, and shipping)\u201d is not sufficient to produce the ideal products we really want to produce.<\/p>\n

\u4f1a\u54e1\u30b5\u30a4\u30c8\u306e\u7acb\u3061\u4e0a\u3052\u306b\u3042\u305f\u308a (2)<\/h3>\n

I also felt a sense of crisis because I sometimes felt ‘left out of the knife industry.<\/p>\n

I was concerned about how the craftspeople we had been outsourcing our manufacturing to would feel about it, but I thought, \u201cWe cannot survive unless we do more of what we can do ourselves,\u201d so we started the sharpening process several years ago, although we were a little late to the game.<\/p>\n

Fortunately, there were many craftspeople who supported us in this challenge, and we were encouraged by them.<\/p>\n
