We try to sharpen these blades as three-dimensionally as possible and to avoid making dents as much as possible, but we’re not very experienced, so if we are not careful, we tend to reduce the blades too much.
\nIf this happens, we will not be able to achieve the ideal “hamaguri-ba”, so we will stop finishing that knife and turn it into material for another product in the future.<\/p>\n

In fact, this happened so often in the early days of the product launch that there were many lots where \u201cless than half of the knives we received from the blacksmith were finished as KS-01.<\/p>\n

This was a major reason why we could not easily ship large quantities.<\/p>\n

In order to improve this situation, we have asked the blacksmith to finish the latest lot thicker than before, and the yield is gradually increasing.<\/p>\n
