The staff member who would later become the first sharpening craftsman at Konosuke initially worked on the development of new products together with young outside craftspeople who had just become independent.<\/p>\n

Although the \u201cYamato Series\u201d was subsequently launched, shipments were delayed due to the lack of a production system.<\/p>\n

Perhaps because of this situation, when I mentioned that I would like to hire a craftsman to take on the sharpening process as Konosuke, ‘Then it would be quickest for me to take up the challenge, wouldn’t it?’ were the first words out of his mouth.<\/p>\n

I could sense from his facial expression and the way he spoke that he was prepared to do so, so I decided to entrust it to him.<\/p>\n
